The amount of Registered Disability Savings Plan repaid during the year

If you have received overpayments from a Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) during the year, you are required to make repayments to Employment and Social Development Canada.

After 2013, for every $1 withdrawn from the RDSP, $3 from any Canada Disability Savings Grant or Canada Disability Savings Bond paid into the plan during the ten years preceding the withdrawal must be repaid to the maximum of the assistance holdback amount – which is generally defined as the total amount of bonds and grants paid into an RDSP within a particular 10-year period.
