Did you reconcile within 90 days of your separation?

If you have a spouse or common-law partner and reconciled with him or her within 90 days of your separation (due to a breakdown in your relationship), you are not considered to be separated for income tax purposes. However, if you had custody and control over a dependant and you were not living with or being supported by the other partner during the separation you could claim an amount for the eligible dependant.
